Backwoods Daydreamer's silnylon seconds?

Anyone get this before and if so what makes it a second. I tried asking on the site but haven't got a response. Also could I get it in any length?

I think I have read that it has 1 or 2 small discolored lines running near the edge of the fabric. I have some from wally mart that has this and it is hardly noticeable.

I have 4 yds of it that i haven't used yet. I haven't found the "imperfections" with a quick look over.

I trust BWDD to only sell good serviceable materials.

If you order 8 yards, you will get one 8 yard long piece. Ditto for other lengths.

Hey Fade, I haven't found your message yet - just looked through the backlog. Sorry I missed it somehow.

On the Sil 2nds, there are a number of things that can cause a fabric to go to the 2nds list. Often it can be as simple as being off-color from the stock color. It can have a slightly thicker silicone coating sometimes (not really noticeable though, and only makes it more waterproof), occasionally there are silicone splotches (I've only seen this a few times), sometimes it's "weaving flaws", which isn't so bad as it sounds, and never such that it would compromise the fabric. Of the 1000's of yards of 2nds I've gone through, I've not had to pull any off as compromised beyond sell-able. We sell over 10X more 2nds than firsts.

I just had some delivered, and I can't find any blemishes or defects. Made a great gear hammock/pack cover/ground cloth.

I made a Blackcat tarp out of 8 yards of it and it was just great! Can't go wrong with BWDD.
