    DIY dog hair UQ

I Literaly just brushed off 5 pounds of dog hair and I was joking with my dad about how I could make a dang blanket out of all the hair. but my hammock mind said UQ. now this is totally a joke haha but that would be wild if someone did because myhuskey sheds like a wolf.

It's been done. My wife knew someone who kept her poodle clippings and knit sweaters. Animal fur has been felted for centuries and used for all kinds of things. I suspect though the weight to warmth ration of dog fur is somewhat less advantageous than down.
I may be slow... But I sure am gimpy.

There's a lady online somewhere that ran a website several years back that did this.

You use the special brushes the comb out the under layer of fur on a dog with two layers and send it to her. She does something to deodorize it and turns it into yarn for you.

Sort of neat, sort of creepy.
