    Noob needs help please

So, I just got an ENO Doublenest and now I need to put a suspension on it correct?

I keep hearing to get whoopie slings. If I go to one of the forum vendors, is that all I need to order?

Guess I need to sit down and watch Shug's videos again. Guess I jumped the gun by buying a hammock before I had any idea what I was doing, hehe.

New straps, a toggle, and some whoopies...and a topquilt and a underquilt, a tarp, a bugnet, a stove, a spool of line for guylines, some stakes, a cook kit, a water filter, a new backpack, and........

Sorry couldn't resist.....New straps, a set of toggles, and some whoopies will get you started down the long road of hammock nirvana. Any of the fine vendors can set you up with what you need.
You can use the stock line and webbing w/ the eno, just fun to play with everything. And the stock stuff can be stretchy.

I'd say play with the stock suspension first. Get used to it, get the hang of putting up a hammock, and then when you want to move on, see the above post for suggestions. Whoopie Slings are nice, but can be a tad bit finicky, so make sure you have the other skills down pat before moving on. Happy hanging!

Stick with normal straps. And when the time comes make yourself some whoops, it's VERY easy.
When it seems like the night will last forever
And there's nothing left to do but count the years
When the strings of my heart start to sever
And stones fall from my eyes instead of tears
I will walk alone by the black muddy river
And dream me a dream of my own

I thought I was told the ENO Doublenest comes without any type of suspension.

No need to buy toggles, either! Use trail sticks, or anything else you have to hand.

Tell me what you would like for a suspension and I will set you up for free. Except Dutch Clips because ironically I don't have any of them. But whoopies, continuous loops, Dutch Biners, huggers (what length). I got plenty of supplies to make you what you need to make that ENO fly.
    Peace Dutch

And yet another example of the great service and friendly people on HF. I wish there were more in the world like Dutch !!! Oh.. and look at the time-stamp on those posts. Don't they every sleep?
