    Nice DIY.

    Looks great as a fun DIY project. Not sure why you wouldn't just buy a $15 pair of Tarp Flyz from Dutch. These work almost identically. His are not only smaller (fit into corner "pouches" better), but they look like they are less likely to poke through a tarp given that all edger and antennae are rounded off.

    Because I wanted the $15 in my pocket and I wanted them within 2 hours, I had the materials and tools on hand, I wanted a different locking method, I wanted a DIY project and...well...just 'cause I'm a DIY kind of guy.

    I watched Dutch's video on his tarp flyz and I watched this one, this one seems easier to me.

    I did break down and order some Dutch Hooks today. I new I'd need that $15 for something sweeter than tensioners.
