    Hook tensioner for tarp ridgeline

    I was having trouble tying off the "Fling-It" brand line I bought by mistake and it didn't work well with the previous tensioner I made.

    I came up with a new (to me?) tensioner that works great and is extremely easy to tie off. The line pops behind itself to lock in place.

    Nice. That's similar to the Dutch's Tarp Fly.

    that's pretty much the same as the tarp flyz by Dutch. Did you make this? If so, of what material? Looks nice!

    The difference is that the line locks behind it's self instead of being wedged in the flyz's antennae. While the two hole line attachment is used by the flyz (and many guylines), the locking method grew out of Redoleary's thread.

    I made it out of 6061-T6511 aluminum.

    I could do that but it would be much more expensive and heavier than the AL you are using. Ti only helps if you can reduce the size with its superior strength.
