Gotta say these little hooks are fun to play with. I've modified a ridge line using one of these and a Tarp Flyz ... and I've got two of these with loops that I can clip onto my ridge line for hanging stuff ...
Served me rather way in the gorge last week and I didn't loose a single one!
Probably a half dozen more utilitarian uses for these to stumble upon. Way to go Dutch!
WARNING: Will discuss Rhurbarb Strawberry Pie and Livermush at random.

You guys are doing some real good splice work. The 1.75 zing it is tough to bury.
I set up a CLR for a freind last night with dynaglide. I bent the flyz and the hook open just a bit and it work real well. The dynaglide is nice because it is easier to find thinner line for the prussics and it is easier to splice. I had 1 hook on the end to go around that tree. 2 hooks on prussics to hold the tarp with a small zing it loop on each d-ring. That make it so I can disconnect the tarp if needed. The fly was also on a pussic so it is more adjustable. I think that is my favorite set up so far.
Peace Dutch

Tritan -- love the video. Perfect! Thanks for posting that. Gives me some good ideas.
I did a couple videos of my setup and doing a smaller locked Brummel loop, hoping they might help.

Just got my Tarp Flyz and Hooks in. I knew they would be small but when I opened the package and saw them, I thought Holly S***! these things are really small and I am going to need a magnifying glass to see them.
Can't wait to go play with them. I might jst have to go on a hang in the woods tomorrow night.
