    Good morning all!

Is it just me or has the forum software been lagging/hanging quite a bit?

It's been fine for me over the pond. I haven't been able to get on BPL for a few days though

Perhaps unrelated but I have problems with the forum when using Chrome on my Mac. When going back a page its often distorted and garbled. Scroll the page up and and down and any part that scrolled off screen comes back to normal.

    No problems when using Firefox.

I have the same symptoms, but only ~20% of the time.

Yep. Last night around 23:00-23:20 CST it was Failing to load pages. It was just hang.
When it seems like the night will last forever
And there's nothing left to do but count the years
When the strings of my heart start to sever
And stones fall from my eyes instead of tears
I will walk alone by the black muddy river
And dream me a dream of my own

I've seen that as well. But that's an issue with Chrome, not the forum itself.

I believe the OP's issue is browser related also.

    ---------

As for the other reports...the server isn't having any specific issues. It will be less responsive during the nightly backups, and it is offline for a few minutes each early A.M. for auto-reboot.

I'm going to close this thread, since it will just collect posts when members have various browser problems, rather than actual server issues. If you have a recurring issue, and can repeat it in more than one browser or from multiple computers or locations please let us know.
