I'm still waiting that free hammock cause my financial situation is quite poor.

they sure are. but recently theyve been getting really watered down and not worth having. i used to restore vintage mopeds, like the puch in the picture.

the other pics were from my moped trip. unfortunately my camera crapped out in daytona. but see how much space having a hammock would have saved me? thats my tent on the gas tank (between legs) and huge sleeping bag on the back of the bike. not to mention that pack had a whole ton of stuff in it, as did the saddle bags. alot pertaining to the tent (sleeping pad, pillow, ground sheet etc)

The one in my picture has 4 gearbox... oh, well..my hair was about 30" long anyway in those days!

yeah, here in the states ours have to be
under 50cc
automatic with (i think) no more than 2 speeds
and something like under 2bhp or so, capable of doing no more than 30mph flat.

my tomos would do 50 with my fat self on it, and it was still a true 50cc. port & polish, few upgrades, new carb, etc....fun stuff.

I would really like to have one. I'm retired with no kids, but I have a nephew who is being raised by his mother. He want's to get a hammock but his mom can't afford one right now and I can't afford another one. This would give us a chance to do a little camping and give him a chance to get away from his mom for a while.

I have always loved the outdoors, some of my best camping memories included me, my tent, and the few thing I could fit in the trunk of my old Firebird. I upgraded my tent for a camper, now my wife won't stay anywhere without a pool and a shower. That's not camping that's RVing. I need to get away from that and back to the basics, and go out with only what I can carry on my back. So please help me get out of the parking lot and into the woods.
