I will kick in again, great quilt....I really like it for the rainy winters here, don't worry about it as much as a down quilt....and it is plenty warm and packs fine for me.

ugh i'm so jealous, i'm getting one this month! I'll have to hike up to bean town and we can be twins.
Only the dreamer venoms all his days,
Bearing more woe than all his sins deserve.
===> Not a problem! Come hike and hang up here! I just ordered a Camo Superfly from Brandon in anticipation of the Fall / Winter possible hangs. Was going to order the Mamajamba, but am sure I would lose the detachable doors! LOL! The Superfly will fit the bill with my WBBB 1.1 Dbl just fine!
I will be heading SOMEWHERE to hang over the 18th - 22nd. Am talking with anothe hanger here about the possibility or an AT section in Western Mass that weekend.

hello i was thinking of getting this UQ my self. I have a HH and its the newer mod. with the zipper entry. just wonted to see if any one had this UQ and how it works with the HH.
Thanks
Yes me to i would like to know how it fits on a asym hennessy? My GT ul should be ok. I have a original Speer PP (synth) and i figure that with a new river under the hammock and the PP over the new river it will be nice a toasty.
I just got my AE New River UQ and everybody is right,,it rocks,,fits perfect on a GT Skeeter Beater Pro that the wife is using..I have a WB Traveler 1.7 Single on order to fit it with and a Jarbridge on the way for the wife..can't wait to get it,,this thing is really made great and I'm really surprised how light it really feels for a synthetic..easy to fit,,easy to adjust,,and hotter than all get out,,will vent heck out of it tonite and sleep outside in the hammock testing it all out as it will only get down to about 65 tonite but have to try it out no matter what..just like a kid with a new toy!
Just had this UQ out for four nights in the woods here in NE, and it was awesome still! Temps dipped a little into the 40s at night in the woods, and I was toasty all night - no problems at all! Easy, easy, to set-up, and the included side loops allowed me to connect a piece of paracord over the end so the BlackBird footbox would stay inside the UQ.
Some pics from last weekend:
DSCF0058.jpg <== Without the tarp, so you can see the UQ. Notice the paracord loop for the footbox. Also notice on the ground the Cold Steel Trail Hawk Tomahawk head. I just carry that, and make whatever length/style handles I need in the bush. VERY hand to have as a wood-processor, draw knife, hammer, etc.
DSCF0062.jpg <== The matching camo hammock straps are also from AHE! The shock cord tie-outs are from MountainFitter here. No problems to-date; they are self-tensioning in wind and rain, and have never sipped, pulled up a stake, or anything else. The orange cord locks are also from Paul at AHE. Easy to see.
DSCF0068.jpg <=== Notice the orange paracord on the footbox end.

Nice, I'm loving mine too, but I've only been out too nights in it. I'm looking to fix that soon enough.
I have 2 Potomac UQs that I use on my WBBB: A 30* 3 season and a winter version with extra Climashield. I like that this model is modified for the diagonal sleeper and fits the foot box and shoulder area on both the HH and BB perfectly.
I also have a DIY KAQ that I made with the same pattern as the Potomac in which I used Thinsulate. I use this as my summer UQ. It will take me down to 40*. It weighs in at about 22 oz.
