Gear stolen and out of luck

I can’t begin to tell you all how much your offers mean to me. I was not expecting anything out of this but to blow off some steam and next thing I know I have people that I have never meet before rushing to help me. This speaks volumes that there are still truly good hearted people in this crazy world. I was not too concerned about myself but Littlebogg is only eleven and a first year Boy Scout. when this happened he said to me in true hammock hanger style. Dad I don’t want to go back to being a ground dweller again. So this act of true kindness from all of you will help keep him from doing this. So from the bottom of my heart thank you all. I know that when I have the chance I will remember these acts of kindness you have all shown me and in turn help someone that needs help.

I've been robbed before and there is no way to really describe the feeling of being violated this way until it happens to you.

This is so true. You feel violated and just plan helpless. There is nothing I have ever been through in my life like come out of the nature center at the park and my car just being gone. And then telling my son well I guess we will not be doing gear tests in the hammocks after all.

I'd like to chip in too, but don't want to send stuff you don't need.
Would you mind posting a list of what was taken from you and LittleBogg?... backpacks, stove, tarps, etc.

I have an extra ENO Singlenest in orange/gray (no suspension, though).
I also have a Trek Light Gear double in camo with Warbonnet Blackbird suspension system.
