Tree Size

If I do have to hang from smaller trees, I try to only use one that bends. I've found it rather nice when the hammock would swing a bit more than usual. Puts me right to sleep. Like someone else said, you do have to watch how you set up your tarp.

I hung from a 4.5" pine tree that hated my guts for my first hang. I had to account for the trees sag more than the hammocks sag but oh boy was it cozy.
