I am constantly laying on the diagonal in my bed and it really irks the wife when she has to push me back on my side in the middle of the night. You sound perfectly normal to me.

Don't worry, I do the same thing. When I roll over I even switch diagonals!

Mine has a bug net over it, there is some fancy name for it but its a bug net just the same.

same here - lay diagonal . have netting over my headboard..

Me too. The lay isn't any more flat, but it just feels more comfortable.

I have my hammock set up in my room, and I sneak out of bed in the middle of the night and finish the second half in my hammock! (shhh don't tell my girlfriend! )

My wife and I hang side by side on our front porch. Open with a roof over our heads. I love it. The waterbed remains a backup.

Maybe that is what the canopy beds are really for....ridgelines and bug nets
