    Outdoor Wilderness Fabrics

Hey guys, I was poking my head around the other day to find out some other retailers for ripstop and stumbled upon OWF. I like them because of the wide range of camo patterns (the bf would be more interested in a hammock if it was camo instead of my extra blue ENO). They are a bit pricey but I was wondering if anyone has had any experiences with them. I know they have a discount bin but its just leftover cuts. But does their patterns differ in color between swatches? Or does their stuff rip under too much pressure? Or is their fabric really even worth it?

Im looking for something other than Joanns since the ripstop they have there is way too bright and it feels heavier than the fabric I got from BWDD. So any opinons would be helpful even if it means another retailer!

OWF is a good source, with good prices. You can call them and get more info; they are helpful.

I have ordered from them a few times - a real hodge-podge of materials, insulations, hardware, etc. for miscellaneous scouting projects.

I have had great experiences every time. Great support and assistance before and during the ordering process. The orders have always shipped quickly and been exactly what I expected.

I would highly recommend them. I've had nothing but good experiences ordering from them.

Agreed. OWF is a great resource and in my prior dealings with them I've always been pleased. Good folk over there. They're prices are very good too (though I am a little partial to BWDD, of course... ). I recommend them highly.

I agree with everyone, they are great to deal with. I have delt with Lynn when ordering fabric for work and Scott (sclittlefield/BWDD) for odds and ends and both are great. I actually ordered 220 yards from OWF and Lynn worked with me on the most cost effective shipping to my office.

i love the stuff i have gotten from BWDD (thanks scott ) i was just looking for other camo patterns. I have the 1.9 oz ACU for my tarp and the olive 1.1 for my UQ. Its great to hear that everyone has had good experiences from them. Its why I went to BWDD as well. Thanks for the help guys!

Is something up with the OWFINC website? I've not been able to see the fabric listings over the past few days. I get yellow error boxes instead.
