I started doing this a different way on my last trip. I tied the pre-attached lines straight out to the suspension. In my case to the descender rings. Worked great. Last weekend I tied shock cord to the external loops and looped it over the descender ring holding it in place with a cord lock. I was afraid of the netting getting sat on or pulled and ripping. The shock cord gets it up off my face and gives it some compliance. You could probably just tie it off without the cord lock, but I liked the idea of adjusting the tension.
