    Wearable quilt info

Can anyone point me towards either a picture heavy or video review of any of the Jack's wearable quilts? I'm curious as to how they look when laid out flat, how they go together, and how one puts it on as a serape. I could have sworn I saw a video on here last year where someone reviewed it, but darned if I can find it anywhere.

All I've seen are pics of them already being worn, pics of them being used as a TQ, and a few pics of some up close details of the corner ties (from Just Jeff's site) but I'm hoping to see more in depth.

I don't think my vid has the detail you want but it does show a JRB Stealth No Sniver in capote mode and as an underquilt...I'm at work and cant send you a youtube link but if you search for MedicineMan4040 and then look for BushWhackCherokeeNF you'll find it. Hope it helps.

That would be cool and appreciated guys. I'm interesting in getting a better look myself.

I think Pan is modeling one in a video of the 2009 (or maybe the 2010 or 2008 one) Mt Rogers hangout. It looks like a big puffy Serape, when in quilt mode it just looks like a quilt. There is a head hole closed by Omni Tape (Looks & works like Velcro, but not as scratchy) for turning it into a poncho / serape, you use one of the suspension (elastic) cords as a belt if you want to. There are also optional sleeves, to make it almost a coat. The sleeves can do double duty as a pillow if you want.
When you have a backpack on, no matter where you are, you’re home.
PAIN is INEVITABLE. MISERY is OPTIONAL.

for those just hearing about wearable underquilts---e.g. JRBs Sniveler line of quilts, know that this is one of the hammocking inventions that belong in the hall of fame.
