    My first hang

Well my hammock friends and family I finally got to get out and test my DIY hammock which was also my first hammock hang ever... and I loved it.. i still have some quirks to work out to get my lay perfect but so much better than shelter laying..
My little brother, my cousin, myself and I convinced my 52 year old dad to join us for their first hike so we chose to do the Carvers Gap to 19E section of the AT this weekend. We knew there was a chance for rain but thought we had a good head start until we got to the first clearings and the lighting, thunder, and hail set in.. long story short.. it was epic lol.. hope to have pics up soon
