Oops sorry . . .
. . . it was post in the Roundtable Off-Topic area
last Monday I was attacked by a bat 14:00 hours (3pm)
. . . yes in the daylight . . .
It was a Medical Authority call that I was at high to extreme risk of rabies infection.
As it was late in the day . . . the next morning at 08:30 was considered still day zero,
at which point I started with the Rabies Vaccine and Rabies Immune Globulin injections.
Tomorrow (Tue) will be 3rd injection day and 7 days later again.
Physically it has been demanding . . .
. . . mentally is has been VERY BAZAR . . .
I could have easily passed it off as a non-issue . . . and then died . . .
. . . I suppose . . .

Cute pics Bradley. What trail are you on??
Have you taken the girls on The Mary's Cr Trail. Easy trail with a good lookout. Not sure about a place for three to hang but gets everyone out of the house for a few hrs. and its near you.I was thinking about you and the girls when i was at Bannock point the other day. Lots of places to hang and in summer swimming as well.

That was a great report
Bannock Point is south of Silverton a few miles on Slocan Lake. You drive about 1/2 mile off Hyway #6 and then walk about a 1/2 mile downhill to the campgrounds at the water. There's pebble beaches at each end and rock cliffs to sun yourself on or jump off of when the weather/water warms up. I'll be putting up a short trip report today with a couple of pics.

Holy smokes Bradley, that does not sound like fun...best wishes on a speedy recovery!
Great pics and post by the way, got out fishing with my curtain climbers this weekend, was a hoot, they're getting pretty good at casting and the oldest learned how to read the regs! Great to see the folks on this forum getting outside and sharing the good times with their kids!
Cheers
