It was the strangest thing I’ve ever seen! They stopped by on a break between crop circles, apologized for being dishless at a potluck but wouldn’t leave until they learned the secret of the infamous Weenie Wellington. The global concept of Hammock Camping is close but not quite universal yet so they were unprepared gear-wise, a short DIY with a couple of emergency blankets and they were quilted and ready to snooze. Looked like a giant Jiffy Pop actually, the bears were salivating so we had to kick them out?

Ok, a little overboard but I empted one too many Heiney Pots last night so please let this one slide? I'm working on the 11oz cans making "Teiney Pots" since the 24oz are now endangered!

It is a light painting technique and I was dying to try it, as it turns out its harder than it looks! The guy who invented it took two years to perfect it and now I know why. The background should have more definition. We'll try this again on a clear, full moon night so we have more light to work with.

I have learnt not to look at the orbs after meeting up with Johnny, Glen and Captain Morgan and friends - does funny things to the mind. I kept hearing "Stay away from the light" :-)

That was great chard, I felt like I was there. It made missing the trip a little easier to bear. Thanks!

Looks like a good trip by all.

I'm hoping to get to the park this summer, just hard to get the time off.(I'm the boss and I don't usually give myself too much time off )

I did a solo 2 day hike (unfortunately with tent) last May. on the Highland trail, only saw 1 moose

    Hey Shug!

Come up to the next Canadian Hang and I will guarantee you at least one Coffee Crisp per night of the trip! I think I might even be able to afford one each for the nights on the road. lol.

    D'uh...

I don't recall any Coffee Crisps..

Sorry Shug, I'm afraid we've let you down.. I hang my head in shame...

I guess it's because us Canadians have to practically push our way through of those magical Coffee Crisp fields to get anywhere. It's crazy!!!

    Sorry, lame photshoping.. but funny.

In our defence, Bcaron did bring some excellent dark chocolate, and there might have been just enough bacon and single malt scotch (Laphroig) to wash away the tears.
