    Talking noob from Texas

I had a $270 REI dividend and a 20% off coupon so what did I do? I bought a hammock!!!

To be specific, I purchased a Hennessy Explorer Ultralight A-Sym Hammock. I normally do a lot of research before purchasing, but this time I spent less than an hour! This was really the only hammock that I saw that REI sold that would fit my height of 6'3". Looking forward to getting my paws on it; should be here by Friday!!

I have been camping, climbing, Adventure Racing, and most other outdoor activities all my life, so I am sure hanging will fit right in to my lifestyle.

welcome from SC. I love my hennessy. I be you will too
Dale Gribble: I'm thinking, "new hammock." For me, laying and swaying in a hammock is like a steady morphine drip without the risk of renal failure.

Randy : yea but just remember yer roots and where ya come from....you got Hennessy in yer blood son......

Howdy and welcome to the trees. You've got a great hammock and if it doesn't work out, REI has a great return policy. That's exactly what I started with and still use.

Come join us at one of our Texas group hangs.
