Did my first hang with my four year old son along for the ride. He slept right above me and loved it. Worked out great! Took a pic for some photo proof.

How high is the top hammock? And how low is the bottom one?
Did your kid need help to get in and out?
Mmmm, might be able to take the boy hamging soon !!!!!
that looks like a great idea. I still don't have a hammock yet but I've been thinking about how to take my 3 year old. I'll have to search around more but I was thinking you could possibly hand two side by side and use a spreader bar to keep them apart.
Great job taking him out.
The top hammock was pretty high. I put the straps as high as I could reach on the tree and when putting him in the hammock he was about 5 1/2 feet off the ground. He definitely couldn't get in by himself. I was about a 1 1/2 feet off the ground (give or take). Another thing I did was set up the second tarp right next to us as a second area to put gear and keep it dry/eat breakfast together. It worked out great cuz we got a little rain in the morning.
Looks like fun.
How did you keep dry when it rained?
