Unhappy how NOT to get out of a hammock...

let me try to keep this FF...

so i had my eno DN hung up at my apartments and i like them a little high off the ground, just how i am sometimes.

well, nature called and since i was reading in the sitting position, i just slid off the edge and dropped down the 2 feet or so...

and let me tell you, i got a "Man Slap" from heck. i DID NOT expect that, and it was such a good one i had to stop and catch my breath...30 minutes ago and i still feel the effects....ive sat on that area before (as most men have) and it was by far, worse.

just a warning, if you ever want to have kids dont do that!

I had my eno dbl hung in the front of a shelter last weekend and slid out of it just as you did. I experienced the same thing. Just somethin ya gotta do once and know to never do it that way again.

Hahaha! That gave me a great laugh

Yep. I've done the jump into a chair and cross my legs in mid-air and kicked myself in the boys. That was funny.

    Phew! Never did that, but

last year I bought a ENO DN for friends, and I just had to try it out. I was at work on a Saturday, so I hung it between two storage rack uprights. Now, the DN is quite a deep hammock, compared to my HH or CJH. When I was done with the test I attempted to exit. And I do mean attempted. I finally ended up in a sideways position, in a U shape with my legs up and over the hammock side. I decided to try and pull the fabric past my butt and drop onto the floor. The concrete floor. Oooof. At least no man slap.

Glad that there was nobody there to see me!

Ok, so this was a chuckler at the start, then when the second post was "Yeah I did that too", I really laughed.... Junk-shots are only ever funny when they happen to someone else... Hope everything still functions ok.

Nothing better than the panicked feeling of "oh sh*t, did anyone see that", when you do something silly...

Took me a second to realize what a 'man slap' was. ouch! My stomach started hurting just reading it.
