mason line would be lighter. Loop both ends. No biner needed. Pass one end around the ridgeline and back through the far loop, attaching the cord to the RL. Now, pull a loop of string through the fixed loop at the loose end and put it around the bottle neck, lark heading the bottle. Done.
Nice! And yet another great use that scrap of Amsteel laying around. It'll never break
