Gonna be paddlin

Got a five day trip next week with a group of 12 men I went to college with. We refer to ourselves as the "Canoebie Brothers." This year will be our 34th annual trip. We have paddled a lot of rivers in 9 different states. We have teachers, doctors, rocket scientists, musical instrument makers, a wide variety of folks.

We sure do have fun together. My face hurts at the end of this trip from laughing and smiling so much. Two of us will be hanging. I converted one of them.

Thanks for the well wishes, now if I could get time to pass more quickly and get all the friggin work done I have to do between now and then. When I take time off, I pay for it before and after with my work load.

Boy do I know that feeling. I have a boat load of paperwork to do before Tuesday evening and then (finally) a 9 day trip in the BWCA with my honey. Hope you get yours done, and have a great trip!

I am supposed to be starting a canoe trip tomorrow morning. Just because it is raining they called it off. The tornado warnings, lightning and hail don't count as far as I am concerned. Sooo bummed right now.
