its a place called fishing creek in North Carolina....it was real nice , snakey though...they stayed in the water which kept us out of it , lol...but the sound of rushing water was always present...I slept like a baby....hammock+ water = alot of drool on the pillow..lol.

love the porch tarp setup. ( note to self , stay away from fishing creek ) snakes!
Dale Gribble: I'm thinking, "new hammock." For me, laying and swaying in a hammock is like a steady morphine drip without the risk of renal failure.

Nice set up. Your tarp lines look like they are glowing in the first pic.

Hey bubba , they are , I put reflective paracord guylines on my tarp as well as my buddies tarp to keep the tent idots from tripping over them....they got picked up in the flash of the camera.

Thanks dude! I had some relective guylines that came with some knotbones I used last week and they sure do help at night. I typically use non reflective (but brightly coloured) cordage but I may switch.

Porch mode is awesome. That's a newer set up (hammock and tarp) isn't it?
