    Thanks for the vid CW. Too bad you didn't get as far as planned but you will! That happend to me one year. I got about a fifth of the way through a 88 km (55 mile) trip and for reasons (not physical) I decided to turn around. The following year I came back and completed it and it was almost more rewarding. How many miles did you actually go?

    35 miles I over did it day one the hills then the end was black top and hard pack road thats what did my feet in

    Ouch, hard on the feet. Maybe you should go barefoot like Survivalist Cody Lundin, that would toughen your dogs.
    35 miles is pretty good and probably a good learning experience with your gear and techniques.

    Well I have down 35 miles in 2 1/2 days twice before and then 45 miles in 3 1/2 days once and never had a issue and was with more weight in the pack , something just went wrong this time around. Glad I am home though my daughter broke her foot last night and we will be seeing ortho tomorrow for the cast here comes a long summer lol
