    Hammock too tight?

Ok, so this may just be stupid, but I've noticed that my eno dn is way to snug after I changed my suspension. I had the original ropes in the channels with the slap straps before, swapped it to the jrb triglides and webbing. The webbing is larks headed thru the channels.

Its hard now to get comfy and I can't get diagonal to lay, the sides seem to tight now.

Now, I just got a second dn that has mostly the original hardware in the channels, and when I use the slap straps that one feels great.

    What gives?

You are likely hanging it too tight. If you can.. hang the slap strap one alongside the triglide one and see what the difference is. Gathered end hammocks need a fairly good amount of sag to allow you to spread the fabric and get a good diagonal lie.
I may be slow... But I sure am gimpy.

I just loosened it some, and its better already. I had it tight to get it higher since these straps slip a lot, and I didn't even think that was the issue. Can't wait to get the whoopee all in one!

Honestly, If you want the most bang for your buck, add a structural ridge line. This will be really easy once you have the Whoopie slings All-in-one setup. Run a fixed length of amsteel from one drip ring to the other and viola! no more ability to pitch too tight! I have a buddy that modded his ENO like this.

have a look at this, its a bit difficult to see as its an adjustable ridge I made him. Thats his wife installing the bugnet.
