It's a shame he's not moving them. I bought some #4 Snakeskins from him earlier in the year. I'll have to stop by and see what he has left.

I realize I am a newbie to hammocks but to me having to go in from the bottom vs the side seems like a hassle.

    it's not.

there are some 'issues', like you can't reach out easily to get your stuff, or cook and stir your pot.

but i like the fact that the mosquito netting is bombproof. there are NO gaps at all. where i live, that's critical.

as far as getting in, you just sit down and you're in. nothing else to it. the velcro snaps shut and you're safe from the bugs.

Let me know how those work for you. I am thinking about ordering them. The XL's though are about 6 oz heavier than my mid weight long underwear.
Is that too much to ask? Girls with frikkin' lasers on their heads?
The hanger formly known as "hammock engineer".

hey patrick... good to know there`s another hammocker in the area.
don at Village Outdoor is a good guy. he was assistant manager at great outdoor for years & when i needed a pair of boots or shoes fitted right, or had other important technical questions to ask, he`s the 1st one i would look for.

I agree Don's great. I try to go by there as often as I can and spend some money, which admittedly is not very often. I hope his store does well. It seems to be. Is he not going to be selling hammocks at all now, or is he switching to some other brand?
