I like attached I believe. Though I've never had a good seperate bug net with a zipper. What knotty said with the UQ makes a lot of sense. I just like the ease of a full system in one when it comes to the bugnet.

Same here. I wouldn't mind trying a separate net on my Traveler but it's not necessary since I have my Blackbird for bug season.
I like the removeable net.
Mine is a tube with a small hole on the foot end and larger hole on the head end. I climb in the hammock with the net at my feet and just pull it up around me, my UQ, and up to my head. It has a draw string to cinch it up at the head end.
There were several of us that build a similar net. I seem to recall that Sgt. Rock either started the thread or was heavily involved.
I like the removable net becuase it is much easier to adjust my UQ from inside the net vs. having to unzip or trying to pinch through the net.
I have lots of hammocks, only one with a fixed net. I use it occassionaly in the summer but prefer the comfort my "main" hammock for just about everything. A few ounces of extra bugnet in the summer aren't a big deal.
I don't like the ENO style bugnet (the Guardian??). It is cumbersome to hang a hammock and UQ.
I made a WB clone standalone type that I love. Weighs practically nothing and it's my choice to take it or not. The con is forgetting it, which I have done.
