For those experienced hangers - what do you prefer Fixed or Removable Bug Net?

For those of you who have done this awhile... for extended hikes and hanging living in the bush, which do you tend to prefer? Removable or Attached Bug Net? Attached nets tend to weigh less since they don't need to cover areas that already have coverage by the hammock. Other than that, I'm not seeing many pros/cons of either. What do you guys prefer?

I almost always use attached bug nets. They weigh less. I usually use them in the winter too as the do retain heat. If I do decide to go netless I have netless hammocks.

In the bug season I need the bugnet attached. Since it is an old style HH without the 2Q/ZQ mods it stays attached. That's ok because in the winter it provides support for my overcover. IOW I leave it attached year round.
I may be slow... But I sure am gimpy.

I use a BB as I like having the bug net just in case as most places I go tend to be very buggy

Bug net for me! I do need a netless one for winter though, it'ld make it easy to adjust the under quilt.

In the heat of the skeeter season I like the baggy all around bug net.(the ENO or Bliss)
I just sleep better with the skeetoes further away from me.
However I do have the Hennessys.and the attatched net is great also.

I have a standard bottom entry Hennessy right now, and I find it frustrating that I can't go net free if the conditions warrant it. I have a WB on the way so that problem will be solved for camping since the net can be folded out of the way. I'm also planning on throwing together a DIY gathered end hammock for back yard hanging.

I really like my warbonnet traveler with separate warbonnet bugnet. It's a little heaveier than the blackbird but i like the setup much better. I can leave it on and pack em together or take it off.
