Thanks Moski for your kind remark on my beginner posty
but sadly yes. Just as it seemed to get better with me joining the world???
Must be the story about how high you can climb a mountain over again!
Reach the top, take another step and you'll know the direction!
Down down sadly and more than just one step, a BIG fall sadly
However I still love that little falling ******* and I'm sure he knows.

Anyway we had a good almost two days 1 nighter with some great guys which I certainly hope to meet again...soon!
Funny how a few hours can make you think/remind you what is and what isnt!
This beginner could easily make it to the next step but starting out with a couple/three "semi"nerds makes one think!
Thinking, thinking and from what I've seen (talking semi-nerds here), I was amongst people trying to reduce weight to 50%, bringing twice as much as they needed to survive?
I brought a bottle of whisky (to share of course), just knowing that was my extra load made me happy and smiling all the way and talking weight you can actually drink your way out of it!

Lots of pics to be edited tomorrow and a link to a couple of hundres+ will be here asap.

Loved my first little 3-generation one. Keep hangin'

I am offended! i am not a semi-nerd!!! I am a way-out-there, totally over the edge, lost out in the hemp, crazy lunatic fanatic of a hammock nerd!?!

Seriously though, i am very pleased to have met and shared a camp fire with you TWS, and i to hope for a hang soon too

Regarding the matter of reducing weight, for the sake of bringing more luxuries.... isn't that the only reason to go UL? to have more capacity weight/volume wise for luxuries? i mean, base weight have nothing to do with final weight including luxuries - right?
