Been working on some upgrades for the upcoming Oregon Hang. Hope you like 'em.
Part 1
Also, a video response to some questions I've gotten on how to make a smaller locked Brummel loop. I hope this helps.
Part 2
Happy hangin', everybuggy!

I spent the best part of the morning yesterday watching all of your video's
very interesting and I learned a quite a few sewing/thread injector tips
Thankyou,
very enjoyable to watch.
As always, nice videos! I enjoy watching. It's nice that I'm not the only hammock geek out there splicing braided mason's line!
I was thinking mason's whoopies for the tarp, but that may be over the top...

Ch@rlie -- thank you!
JohnSawer -- Heh heh. Hmmm.... Over the top? That, my friend, is precisely why we must.
rip waverly -- I can't wait to see everyone's rigs and setups. Should be so much fun.
Silverlion -- I wish you were going, too! You'll be missed. I DO need to see your zipper mod. I bet its fantastic.

How long is that masons line? It appears to be pretty short? It is interesting that you go so light on the stake outs but it appears to be paracord and the figure nines for the CRL. you should try the Dutch hook and clips.
yay Poptarts!
tritan -- Yep. You'll get no argument from me. I basically threw the CRL together using what I had on hand. I plan to switch everything out to some 1.75mm or 2.2mm lash it, soon. I'm still in the fine-tuning stages, but it is servin' me mighty right, fer now. I've also got my Dutch Hooks on order. (evil grin) I started with 3 feet of mason's line, which, after the loops, ends up being 2 and 1/2 feet or 30 inches of line. I also have some longer extenders for those times I want to go into "porch mode" with my tarp.
Gary R -- I know!!! Right? YUMMM.....
