ViDEO: Brushy Ridge Trail with the Hickery Brothers & TZBrown

    The last one...from this trip......

This is another trail in the Linville Gorge that we hiked for the first time......terrific trail and named right! Been looking over at that trail since 1970....finally got to it.

Gotta cross the river at the bottom....I did three times. Once to go find the trail on the other side to Pine Gap then back to get my pack then back to catch Hickery and TZBrown. Cold and fun..... Be tough if the river was any higher.
Sure hated this trip to end but got 8 nights out in the piney woods)))))))
    Whoooooooooo Buddy.

Thanks to my lovely Meg for letting me do my thing and trusting that I'll be OK.

Thanks Shug, great as always. I would like to hike there someday. Need to do a road trip and just do it. I just need to find a distraction in the area for my wife. But that wil cost me.

Looks like you guys sure had a blast! Would have been there had it not been for doctor appointments. Next year I'll cancel whatever comes up. Thanks again Shug, really enjoy your videos.

    Thanks for sharing Shug...

Thanks Shug, for putting together and sharing all your vids of your Linville Gorge adventure. From feasting on frog legs, rambling through briars and stream crossings, was a little worried when you made that precarious stream crossing though, glad you made it safely.

A few great things about going out on a trip like that is being outdoors, having fun with good friends, getting beat up and a great a work out to boot. Somehow after a trip like that, you gain a greater appreciation of what you have at home. (At least I do)

Looks like you got a winner with your new Cuben Tarp. I know your going to enjoy having that guy in your gear stash.

Awesome trip and vids, thanks again for sharing!
