Paracord is okay for whipping the ends, maybe okay for a ridgeline,, but you don't want to use it for suspension.

Paracord is like climbing rope-its designed to stretch under tension, to avoid breaking. Its a shock absorbing cord. A few people here have not heeded the advice of the wise ones, and attempted making a hammock with paracord, and it didnt work, due to the inherent stretching properties. So, stick with Zing it

When you say "Use Zing-It" what do you mean? For suspension? Ridgeline? or to make a net hammock from?

Either way, Zing-it is too weak to reliably use as suspension (unless you're a real lightweight). Like others have said: paracord stretches. It's ok as whipping or ridegeline (not a lot of tension on a ridgeline). But using it for hammock suspension could cause it to drop you, or stretch overnight...

Tarp plans and here is a great place for materials. Can't forget the Zing it either.
