I was in Petsmart yesterday and noticed a pile of reflectix like bags in the fish dept. I asked the person working around them, and they said they were just throwing them away, that it is what they get the fish in.
So I asked if I could take some and they had no problem with that.
The bags are about 2.5' square and white inside with a reflective outside. They have a waterproof seal on 3 sides. They seem a little thinner than true reflectix, but for free I can see the potential in them.
I would imagine if you called your local petsmart that you could just ask them when the shipments arrive, and if they could save some.
