    guess it will be based on how cold you sleep. Hamhocker has been using my old Speer Top quilt rated at 50°. It is a sewn thru-construction and works great for her. She is a cold sleeper but being in Tn it doesn't get to the point of needing a 40° top quilt in the summer time.

    We have one on order for her. Kinda of funny but I had asked them to make me a sewn thru-consturction top quilt right before they announced they would be making them.

    Now I am waiting for them to make a sewn thru-construction underquilt rated at 50 or so degrees. Again in the south no need for a underquilt rated at 40°
