Just went to academy and piked up a thermarest prolite small on sale for $35! And about 3 months ago I got the regular for the same price for being in the wrong spot

Try to go on Thursdays and keep an eye on the items ending in. 88.
I have found awsome deals
Kids 0 degree sleeping bags 4.88

a 90 DOLLAR Browning sleeping bag for 11.88
just to name a few deals.......over time.

Wow, the Prolite small is what I use too, also from Academy. But I paid much more than that back when I bought it. Nice find!

Wow! I'm going to have to make a trip tomorrow. That's too good of a deal to pass up. I sure hope that's a deal that's not limited to your store or your region! I guess we'll see tomorrow.

What is the deal with Thursdays? In October 2009, one weekend they had 50% off everything ending in .88. Is thursday the same as this or is it something else?

From what I have been told... they do the price changes on Wensday nights.
Although the item may have a price on the display, often times ot may be reduced and the store has not changed the tag. I scan things that have dust on them or seasonal items...

I have gotten many ThermaRest stuff sacks on clearance for around 3 or 4 dollars each. They are the small red and orange ones for the prolite pads. They are made of cordura silnylon and weigh .6 or .7 ounces. I use them for everything from hammock and tarp bishop bags to sundry item storage.
