Walls of Jericho report....

2sticks and I decided to go in on Saturday to spend the night. It was worth every minute. We passed JerryW and Southmark on the way in. This is the second time I have passed Jerry on the trail and did not get to camp with him. I really wanted to check out some of his diy gear that I have seen on videos and heard great things about.

We arrived in camp early afternoon. It was great to get to camp and see some familar and new faces. We set up camp and 2sticks wanted to go to the Walls of Jericho to get in the water. We stayed at the walls most of the afternoon playing in the water. We got back to camp and 2sticks decided to take a nap that lasted till the next morning. I think she stayed up too late the night before. I enjoyed a relaxing evening with the hammock group. Everyone got up early the next morning to beat the heat on the hike out. 2sticks was great on the way out which was all UP

2sticks was a little upset that she slept thru the evenings activities but she had a great time. She loves playing in the water and this trip was just the ticket.

We did not do well with recording our trip on video but we did get some footage of 2sticks playing with every small creature in the woods and her playing at the Walls.

Warning, this video does not contain a lot of hammock stuff and is probably only what a dad enjoys watching. The sound is not great at the start but improves after a short time.

Thanks for showing us your dual-mode gathered/bridge hammock, hangnout... Your DIY projects are excellent.

I had an extra day off, so I spent some time on the water cooling off instead of getting the pics off my camera. Coming soon though!

As usual, it was great to see old friends and meet new ones. I definitely think we should have a do over hang in the Fall, with more water and cooler temps

Glad we didn't have to leave anyone at the bottom of the hill on the way out

Good to see everyone made it back home safe and sound, especially more! I know I'll be keeping my epi-pen closer to me from now on!!
