Video: TR Texas Sweat, Skeeters and Sweet Tea Hang at Village Creek State Park

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nc8o37RhTXc

We had a great time at Village Creek State Park in Lumberton Texas. Old Gringo, TCBTX, Alan, Chad, Iraq Ninja + his kids made it to the hang. We had a great time.

I sure feel like a heel. I came late and had to leave early due to medical reasons. However, I enjoyed seeing old friends and meeting new ones.
The paddling was fun but the fellowship was even better!

Thanks to everyone for taking care of me and seeing me off safely!

Now that’s what I call a real disappointment. I was leaning back making my self comfortable and thinking that that guy babelfish5 got it going for him and then……

I always look forward to your videos. Please don’t make them that short.

    Best,
    Blaze

Good stuff! Thanks, Clark! The weather was actually more tolerable than the numbers would indicate. I went w/o an under quilt, and was cool one night out of three.

Thanks to all who came...Chad being a local was invaluable. He made arrangements for our float, guided us to some great Cajun food, and shared his lovely family with us Saturday night. John's kids are troopers, and his cooking was much appreciated.

The Big Thicket is unlike any place I've ever camped...it made for a good trip. It will make a great place for a winter hang, and there is plenty of hiking.

The bread John cooked was about the best I have ever eaten.
