    Houston we have a problem

    I am freaking out I found a tear in my new WBBB haven't used it yet just two test hands for an hour in my backyard.

    No idea how it happend and I have a trip in 2 weeks. I noticed it when I was hanging tonight testing my tarp setup and notice a bug inside the hammock.

    Yes its the bug net and and no its not the zipper side. Its above the foot box.

    If it's on the zipper side, it may have snagged in the netting.

    Given the short timeframe, I'd take some polyester thread and a needle, go through the edge of the grosgrain and 2 loops into the good side of the net. Shouldn't affect anything...

    Like the first ding on a new car, eh? You know it will happen eventually but you like that new glow to last a little while. Reminds me of the time we had bought a new Eureka car camping tent. Such a big purchase at the time. Drove out west and set up after dark on BLM land in Texas. We woke up the next morning to find holes eaten through the floor of the tent by fire ants. They didn't appreciate us setting our tent on their home.

    If you think it's a manufacturing problem, call Brandon. You can patch it up as JohnSawyer mentioned and then confer with Brandon when you get back. It does suck to find it on a new item right before a trip but at least you found it and can fix it before you go. Be worse if you discovered on your trip.
