I've got the Deep Jungle, with the Radiant Pad.
I'll be off for a week of backpacking with my son's Boy Scout Troop later this summer. We've been advised to expect night time lows as low as 55 degrees.
Assuming a reasonable sleeping bag for the temperature range, would the stock HH radiant pad be likely to keep me warm enough on the bottom side? Or, do I need to worry about some other kind of insulation in the bottom pocket. I'd like to avoid taking my Thermarest. If I really needed something more, I'd probably leave the radiant pad at home, and carry a closed cell foam pad.
The radiant pad is nice and light, so I'm hoping that will do the trick.
