    15 mile loop near Philly?

Hey everyone. Looking for a 15ish mile loop relatively close to Philly. Just trying to get out for a couple days and don't want to spend a lot of time in car. I'd like to find something with 2 hours. I'll continue to search on line, but love having input from you guys.

    Thanks

Take a look at this site. http://www.localhikes.com/MSA/MSA_6162.asp

You might find something that works for you here. I used to post hikes to this site for the Washington D.C. area. It's been awhile, but still a good resource.

    hey PV,

i don't have any loops, but any part of the AT up near Blue Mt. is awesome, and not far from us - 2 hours tops. bear rocks/wolf rocks/knife's edge/bake oven knob is only 12 mile out and back, but you could continue farther, hang off the trail wherever you want the rock scrambling is fun and challenging.

www.midatlantichikes.com great site with free trail maps and guides. Not specifically a 15 mile loop that I know of on this site, but still a good resource. There is an 11mile loop in fench creek SP near philly that could be combined with part of a seperate loop described on that site. I have done alot of the PA hikes on this site and they are great. Most of the hiking I do is on the AT, and is not loop based.

ProV, wherever you go, let me know if you want some company. I had to bail on my last trip and itching to get out.
