There are plenty of trees there!

I haven't been to any of the campsites, but while rock climbing there, its easy enough to find a couple of trees nearby.

I think the only place you are allowed to camp is at the State Park sites. There used to be camping on the Yadkin River Canoe Trail island too, but you were required to row in with a boat to camp there. I've often wondered what happens when you do the Yadkin River Access trail (6 miles or so) -- what happens if you don't make it by the end of the day? Do you just keep walking as long as it takes, or could you stop and camp?
