    I heart HF.
Everyone has been very kind to me thus far!

I think there is one good old saying that can go a long way (Internet/forums or otherwise)
and that is: Do unto others as you would have done to you!
In other words can't we all just get along

The mods here are amazing and so are the members!

    Thumbs up

The moderators run a pretty tight ship with generally excellent results. Thanks!

Wow take a nap and the thread explodes! Taking the thread out of the member only section might have had something to do with that. Thanks Mods!!!! Please mods don't take offence to my rant I know you guys are doing everything you can and are doing a great job BTW. I just get frustrated when I see a really good thread get bogged down by nay sayers and negativity. This forum has really been a blessing to me(although not to my pocket book). Honestly I feel better getting things off my chest and that others have noticed the same. I do however, plan on be better in the future about reporting negative/harassing posts. Maybe we need to have everyone take a course on forum ettiquete before joining. Seriously though I don't think some people understand that you can't communicate in the same way you would over the phone or in person. Thanks again for everything!

    What Dutch said.
It is the best run forum I've seen too.
We all get tempted....I know I do...step away from it because the information exchange here is too too good to mess up; and at least in my case many a good friendship has developed because of HF and because of the group hangs spawned by these forums I've seen some really beautiful places.

I hope this place never degrades, it have been my go-to place when things have been down IRL(a lot) - i go here to find both strength and inspiration. The honesty, friendship and positivity of the forum have always "rubbed off" into my personal life, i like that - and would like to keep it that way; i guess what i'm trying to say is:
Mods keep up the good work, and everybody else too, and let's keep this the best darn place on the web......

See ya.... off to make tea...

Wow! I must be on the wrong threads (or right threads ). I have seen nothing but respect for forum members and their opinions (even when they differ)--something I have seen in no other forum on the web. Thanks to all who make this happen, both moderators and members. The Hammock Forum remains a great place with classy people. So keep on being awesome .

On a different forum I frequent, which is almost as good as HF, the mantra used by the leadership is:, "it isn't what you say, but how you say it; seek a higher level. I have found HF to expect the same "style". Keep up the good work everyone. Happy hanging.
