I have the 12 x 14 and the tieouts are fine. No worries on robustness.

    Great cost-effective tarp.

I use a 12x9 as my primary tarp. As Tendertoe says, it's hard to beat for the price. Mine has a continuous ridgeline with prussics, so I never subject the grommets to any great stress. The corner tie outs are not an issue.

I have the 12'x9.6' and think the tie outs are very sturdy. i use the figure 9 brand guy lines on the corners and have a paracord ridgeline with prussics and use S-biners as quick disconnects. It all seems to work fine. I had it out over the weekend through 3 thunderstorms and it held its own. I was impressed by its price to quality ratio. On the last day of my trip it rained a heavy downpour for quite a few hours, the tarp leaked through the taped seams a small ammount, so now im in the process of Camp Dry spraying the seams down. Does anyone have a better but simple remedy for fixing this leak?
