Got my first Hammock (HH Exp Asym Zip) and love it a few months ago... since I got it I have spent a good 10 nights in it out in the (as Shug says) " the piney woods".
Since joining HF you all have helped a lot.
I have changed out the suspension to Whoopie slings...
changed out the stock tree huggers for 2 X 10 ft 1 inch webbing and the Marlin spike.
got snake skins.
New tarp and using the above tarp ridge line.
the videos, comments, how to's, and knowledge base here at HF is fantastic..
I'm currently working on a DIY underquilt.
I just want to say thanks all..
I won't be tenting again...

Jerry, it's nice to be elevated, eh? Yeah, tent is a very bad four-letter word here. There is a ton of info here and everyone is incredibly helpful. Glad you're enjoying the world above the ground but beware, once you start DIY, you can't stop.
