Ditto Oms' questions. I have had for some time enough Cuben to make a tarp and had figured on extending the ends to make "doors" as Stormcrow has done here, wondering what the shape he's using it.

Have been too busy with other things though to make the tarp. And with a backpacking trip coming up in a couple of weeks!!!

Awesome job on the intro btw. I have friends that went to film school and their videography skills aren't even that good.

Does that mean it is longer on the bottom sides then the ridge line? I was also wondering why the OES tarp weighs more. It doesn't seem like it is that much bigger. Nice tarp, definitely want one.
It is cat cut. Shaped similar like the old Speer winter tarp.....very long bottom. Different weight cuben used but Stormcrow could answer that better.

You can see the shape a bit better here....

Just imagine a regular cat-cut tarp with doors added in one big piece.

    Great Review Shug.

I really enjoy my new CF HG tarp.

The weight savings are great, and I love the coverage with doors.

Hope to use it a bunch on the AT soon

I still have not had the nerve to try your "Spin Cam" yet.

I'm away from home right now with my gram-weenie spreadsheet, but I know that with the tarp, my tie-outs (I'm using 1.25mm Z-Line for that), bungees for the pullouts and doors (3/32" shock cord), Dutch's continuous ridgeline (forget the size of the cord, but one side is Dutch-Hook and the other is Tarp-Flyz) and a home-made mesh tarp skin, I'm still under 10 ozs for everything.

Supposed to rain during my trip, but am hoping to shoot some video anyhow, but I'll try to give a better answer when I get back.
