I believe you would be better off with another tarp though man

This is the replacement to the old tent-top.

But I agree that you'll be happier with the conventional bug net & tarp approach. I am!

I have a 12x12 tarp and a skeeter beater, but I am getting a bridge with no bugnet. Also I am looking to keep the weight/bulk down(mainly bulk). The second link is exactly what I am looking for, but does anyone have a used one for sale? Thanks for all the responses so far! Keep em coming!

I have one. My young climber decided to use the spreader bar as a back rest to get into his sleeping bag. The sharp broken spreader bar went through the hammock. The rip in the hammock is a little too much for me to fix. I can let you have the the stock tarp. It doesn't work with my gathered end hammocks. PM being sent.

If Mancat does not want the damaged hammock body, I might give it a go. Would be happy to pay freight. Lemme know.
