Good to know. Any idea what material Clark uses?

I was looking at these fabrics on Ebay. Would something like this be a good fabric to make gathered end hammocks from?

Hey sorry it took so long to respond... I have to enable that features that makes it to where I get an e-mail when someone responds to one of my post...
Anyway it has been a while but I think I was talking about the way Clark sets up the hammocks. I have sleep in a nx-200 in New Zealand on top of a mountain below freezing with pretty high winds. The bug shield and weather shield up top do a great job of containing your body heat in the top chamber. But what really makes the Clark design so ingenious to me was the 6 velcro pockets underneath the hammock.

The dead air space this setup creates is no joke...
As I said I was in a below freezing environment and was very comfortable.
I don't know how cold you can go with this setup but for everywhere I hang this is more then enough to get the job down (I live in Alabama)
Plus I don't have to worry about the added space and weight of pads or a UC
I have talked about this process a lot more in depth in other areas of the site.
Let me know if you have anymore questions...
