    Great looking pants. FWIW, I stopped carrying midweight Capilene after we weighed a set at work and compared them to the expedition-weight stuff. There was almost no difference (less than 2 oz) in the shirt, and the pants weighed the same IIRC. It's lightweight Capeline or nothing for me now.

    i added another picture of the new pants from this weekend's backpacking trip to the uwharrie mts w/ keith (under "other gear" i believe). http://www.hammockforums.net/gallery...5/PC310078.JPG
    also a couple other pictures in "tips & tricks".
    i actually got to use the thermawrap pants & i have no regrets in getting those babies!
    they are a great piece of gear! i'm looking forward to getting lots of use out of them.

    My midweight Capilene pants actually weigh half an ounce MORE than my expedition weight Capilene. Of course, mine are the older variety, and the newer line may differ.
