    first hang

This weekend will be my first outdoor hang of the season, it's been pretty chilly up here in N. Ontario! This will also mark my bf's first hang EVER! He's camped for years but never even thought of hammocking til he met me
We're paddling out to an island in Lake Superior for the weekend, as long as the lake behaves herself, it should be an awesome trip!! I'm really looking forward to it! He's had a hip replaced and other back problems so it will be fun to wake up in the morning and listen to him rave about how good he feels!

That's awesome! Maybe once I get my first ever hang in, I can get the wife to try it out, even if it's just a nap.

I'm looking forward to a picture filled trip report.

Happy to report we had a fabulous weekend and bf absolutely LOVED his hammock! I'd told him that he was probably gonna sleep about 12 hours his first night - he didn't believe me - til I woke him up at 10:45 the next morning!
I don't know how to attach pictures to the messages here but on my profile the albums is called First Hang of 2011 (if you're interested). We went to Victoria Island, Lake Superior. We hit the north end of the island on Friday night and worked our way south then back to Jarvis Bay.

Hammock Town looked like a great set up! Glad you both had so much fun. Thanks for posting!
